No. PSERC/Secy/40. The Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission, in exercise of powers vested in it under section 86(1) of the Electricity Act, 2003 and in compliance of the Government of Punjab NRSE policy 2006, notified vide No. 10/106/2006-STE(1)/5390 Dated 24^th November, 2006 approves the tariff rates for purchase of NRSE power by the Board/Licensee during the year 2008-09 as under:-

1. Applicability: This notification shall be applicable for purchase of NRSE power by the Board/Licensee in the State of Punjab.

2. Effective Date: The tariff rates shall be effective from 1^st April, 2008 till 31^st March, 2009.

3. Tariff: The tariff rates shall be:

· Biomass, Urban/Municipal/Industrial 384 P/ Unit

liquid/solid waste to energy

and wind power projects

· Mini/Micro Hydel 370 P/ Unit

Bagasse/Biomass based Co-

generation

· Solar energy 772 P/ Unit
